Device Gateway
(USB data sticks)
A new terminal enables the connection of external USB data devices with SITE. It provides a new test possibility considering the user experience.
New Radio KPIs
A new set of Radio KPIs will be introduced that support the analysis of the radio interface.
AMR-WB Support
With the new air interface probes SITE will be able to handle and test AMR-WB coded voice calls.
Voice Quality according to POLQA
POLQA is the next-generation voice quality testing technology. It is used from the ITU-T P.863 standard and supports super-wide-band signals up to 14 kHz.
Load Balancer
The new HW component provides a balanced user distribution over all installed UI-Servers. (Recommended for SITE installations with > 25 user licenses)
Next Hardware Generation (CLU/WLU)
The new housing offers a better utilization of the 19” rack space and the Hotplug capable test interfaces are much friendlier for the field service.
AWS (North America frequency band)
A 3G interface, which supports the AWS frequency band (1700-2100 MHz) will become available.
Dual Carrier HSPA+ 42Mbps Interface
This new test interface supports peak download rates of 42 Mbps.
Nomadic-M
The Nomadic Probe can now operate in mobile-mode and can also be used for drive service testing.
Maintenance Features
SITE Portal
The portal will soon include a full size geo map and will be aware of Global Resource Pool and GlobalRoamer locations on a customer system.
Trace Inspector
This will be an additional means of analyzing SITE traces and will be part of the L3 trace capability.
Dual IMSI
Each test case will be able to switch between both identities of a dual IMSI SIM card. SIM Multiplexing is also supported.
Intelligent Folders
A GUI feature that enables users to create custom filter conditions to search for test- and report definitions. Each user can then store up to 10 different search criteria in the database.
Histogram in Reports
Reporting will become even more scalable with this new feature, which will add histograms to reports to show data distributions in charts.
HTTP Download
Testing will become easier and clearer as three of our test cases will be combined into one new test case.
Alarming via SMPP
SITE alarms can now be sent via SMS large accounts (SMPP protocol)
2. GlobalRoamer News
We are rolling out new GlobalRoamer locations every week!
GlobalRoamer now covers 227 locations in 177 countries world-wide, giving access to more than 590 networks!
And we do not stop expanding the GlobalRoamer footprint!
In addition to that, Keynote SIGOS’ very own prepaid SIM Pool, which offers a large variety of foreign SIM cards to all GlobalRoamer customers, has also been expanded. It now hosts 359 SIMs from 335 mobile operators world-wide.
