There is a lot going on at Keynote SIGOS. Our customers are growing and our staff is growing as well.

Keynote SIGOS now speaks in 21 languages with our 199 customers in 98 countries world-wide.

The new version of GlobalRoamer went online in March and now features Early Charging / False Answer Detection, Steering of Roaming (SoR) Testing as well as a revised front end.

The footprint of GlobalRoamer is being constantly extended and we are very proud to announce the current status of test probes in 131 countries providing access to 439 networks!

Our next Keynote SIGOS User Conference will be held on 12 & 13 July 2010 in Nuremberg, Germany. Invitations will be sent out soon! But this is not all, we are also introducing what we call 'Public Trainings' which basically means open training sessions in various locations world-wide.

The upgrade of GlobalRoamer 2.3 went online on 9th March 2010 and provides all of our GlobalRoamer Customers with these new enhanced features

1) GlobalRoamer Footprint GlobalRoamer provides access to manage tests on 439+ mobile networks in 131+ countries.

2) Fixed Line Coverage Keynote SIGOS will be rolling out Fixed Line coverage in additional 20+ countries by Q2 / 2010: The target is to have all these locations available by the next SIGOS User Conference in July 2010.

3) Early Charging / False Answer Detection

This new GlobalRoamer product feature detects fraudulent billing for calls which are answered by International Interconnect Carriers even though the calls have not been connected. Early Charging indicates when connected calls are being billed moments earlier (seconds) before the calls are actually being picked up by the Receiving Party. Such phenomenon are commonplace but are rarely detected due to the fact that few people actually know that it exists!

GSM Association has begun drafting recommended guidelines to combat this outrageous fraudulent activity spearheaded by the Interconnect Working Group (IWG). Read more.

4) Steering of Roaming (SoR) Testing

This application tests the correct deployment of SoR servers according to GSMA IR.73. Based on Location Update reports generated by the GlobalRoamer test platform, steering activities can be evaluated and analysed. In addition, essential information is measured during Location Updating process in order to indicate Anti-SoR activities according to IR.89. Read more.

Global Resource Pool (GRP)

Most SITE solutions are deployed testing networks within national boundaries. Some existing SITE installations cover international aspects deploying SITE Local Units in neighbouring countries for purposes of outbound roaming testing and fraud detection.

With the release of SITE V2.3, private SITE systems will get access to Keynote SIGOS hosted probes in more than 400 mobile networks world-wide (known otherwise as GlobalRoamer). The utilisation of GlobalRoamer can be used by Customer’s privately installed SITE system anywhere in the world. The feature is known as ‘Global Resource Pool’.

Global Resource Pool comprises 131 Countries (190 locations) resulting in access to 439 mobile networks world-wide.
