Open Connectivity
Connecting the World
Open Connectivity (OC) is a solution for next generation roaming and interworking. OC replaces multiple bilateral roaming relationships between operators with a more efficient hub-based approach. Open Connectivity enables multi-lateral roaming and interworking relationships via SMS hubbing and roaming hubbing.
For roaming hubbing providers, a crucial issue is to safeguard service availability and service quality once a new network operator is connected to the roaming hub.
To support Open Connectivity, international and generally accepted standards for Global Roaming Quality testing (GRQ) have been defined by the GSMA GRQ workgroup. These standards lay the profound basis for boundless testing of service availability and service quality.
With Keynote SIGOS, roaming hubbing providers can rely on a well experienced GRQ certified vendor. Keynote SIGOS was one of the initial expert members of the GRQ group, contributing significantly to setting up the now universally accepted GRQ standards.
